A white Hyundai Santa Fe sits incapacitated Thursday afternoon following a wreck at the intersection of 13th Street and Fairgrounds Road. According to the Eddy County Sheriff’s Office, the Santa Fe was travelling south on 13th Street when the driver of a black Nissan Pathfinder heading eastbound on Fairgrounds failed to yield at a posted stop sign, hitting the Santa Fe. The driver of the Pathfinder was cited for failure to yield and driving without a license. Both the driver and passenger of the Santa Fe complained of pain and were treated at the scene.
