The 78th Annual Eddy County Fair culminated Saturday at the fairgrounds with the 4-H and FFA Junior Livestock Auction.

This year’s sale brought in a whopping total of $1,092,564 for the county’s hard-working young livestock exhibitors. Top sale prices for the day included $20,000 and $19,000, respectively, for the 2023 Grand Champion and Reserve Champion prospect yearlings, shown by Kynley McCullough of Loving 4-H and Tracelynn Alcorn of Cottonwood 4-H.

Corporations, organizations, small businesses and individuals from throughout the county pooled their resources to reward 106 exhibitors for their efforts over the past year.
