The City of Artesia is excited to introduce our new logo, designed to capture everything that Artesia stands for. The city worked closely with Red Rocket Media to create an updated logo and branding to symbolize a new, revitalized era in our history with the intention of being the best city in New Mexico. The logo was approved unanimously by Artesia City Council on August 8, 2023.

The typeface brings a clean, modern look while still staying true to Artesia’s distinct personality. The Zia Symbol balances the design and serves to represent the city’s New Mexico culture. The tapered line surrounding the text is left open-ended. This represents Artesia’s strive to keep improving and moving forward. Most importantly, the logo is designed to be used in any color. Artesia is a diverse city with a wide range of departments, events, organizations, and especially citizens. We believe the ability to easily change the color of the city logo to fit any theme can greatly benefit the city’s goal of a stronger community.

The City of Artesia looks forward to implementing this logo within our
departments in the near future.
