Athletes line up to receive their sports physicals as Wendi Huelett, RN and chief nursing officer with Artesia General Hospital, confirms documents.

High school athletes from Artesia, Lake Arthur and Hagerman were able to receive free sports physicals for the 2014-15 school year Tuesday afternoon, courtesy of Artesia General Hospital.
A total of 439 students took advantage of the opportunity this year.
Thirteen AGH medical providers conducted the physicals as a community service outreach. This is the fifth year the hospital has offered the service.
