Above, Artesia High School seniors pose for a photo last week at The Derrick Floor following the Sixth Annual Economic Scavenger Hunt, organized by the school’s economics teachers. The event allows Artesia’s soon-to-be-graduates to spend the day in the downtown district exploring some of the businesses that drive the local economy, acquainting them with the impact of different industries and helping them explore potential future interests.
