After responding to a call at 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, officers with the Artesia Police Department arrested Filiberto Sosa, 51, and Sonja Flores, 44, of Artesia for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Flores was also arrested on two warrants from Artesia Municipal Court. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
Early Wednesday morning, APD officers received a call from dispatch regarding a man and a woman outside of a residence in the 1100 block of North Sixth Street “working the action,” then firing an unloaded firearm. Later on, the officers were informed that Sosa and Flores were allegedly pointing the unloaded

firearm and dry firing at a vehicle with passengers inside.
