Artesia police were dispatched to an Artesia Public Schools maintenance yard at 900 W. Quay Ave. Wednesday morning in reference to a burglary and, during the course of the ensuing investigation, located a bomb.
A small, gas-powered vehicle, a set of welding leads, and several hoses were reported stolen from the yard. The vehicle was found at a residence in the 900 block of South Second Street, and a search warrant was issued for the other stolen items.
