Artesia Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Crit Caton announced Monday at the meeting of the APS Board of Education a new parent campaign being initiated by the Artesia Police Department called “H.E.A.R.T.”

The acronym stands for: H – Halt – do not go to your child’s school; E – Expect to receive instructions; A – Arrive at the designated pick-up site; R – Reunite with your child; and T – Talk to your child.
