The Artesia Public Schools Board of Education held its regularly scheduled meeting Monday to discuss several major agenda items regarding the upcoming school year.
John Ross Null, assistant superintendent of curriculum, sought the board’s approval to adopt the 2014-15 Artesia Public Schools board goals. The goals are as follows: “To implement curriculum and teach to standards which improve student achievement and prepare students for mandated graduation and college/career readiness assessments, to promote a drug, gang, and bully-free campus for all schools, to continue implementation of the NM TEACH teachers and principal effectiveness evaluation systems, and to plan capital expenditures for the facilities of the Artesia Public Schools.” … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
