ARTESIA — Southeastern New Mexico now has a film production company of its own. Vivid Light Pictures, LLC, based in Artesia, is preparing to shoot the first of a series of films in the area, starting next month.


VLP will be using as many locals as possible for cast and crew but will also bring in entertainment industry professionals to give New Mexico residents a chance to learn and grow on the job.
