The Artesia Public Schools have been accepted into the New Mexico Mathematics, Engineering and Science Association (MESA) program.

Students participating in John Syferts’ chemistry classes at Artesia High School are committing to attend extra hours, dedicating their personal time to the after-school program’s meetings on Wednesday nights. The students expressed how excited they are about learning the MESA material and seeing their future possibilities.
