Zia Intermediate School participated recently in a Red Ribbon Week Poetry Contest, with first place going to, from left, Michael Sherwood, second place to Elora Gibson, and third place to Aliyah Valencia. Honorable Mention went to Sadie Ramirez, Riley Wortley, Gracelyn Casey, Lexi Carlo and Cheyanne Parson. The students’ poems will be on display in the front hallway of the school.
