ARTESIA — Artesia High School alumnus Alysia (Tucker) Tutak has returned to teach at her alma mater and says she couldn’t be happier to be back in the City of Champions.

“I am so happy to be teaching at AHS and in the school system that helped make me the person I am today,” Tutak says. “I am proud to have been a graduate of AHS and will forever be a Bulldog!”

Both Tutak and her husband, Greg, were 1998 graduates of AHS, where Alysia – a San Angelo, Texas, native who came to Artesia in 1990 – participated in cheerleading and Greg – an electrical engineer – in football and baseball.

Following her graduation, Tutak attended New Mexico State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2003. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
