Artesia Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Hayley Klein and Michael Bunt, the director of Economic Development for the City of Artesia, provided an update Tuesday to the Eddy County Commission on all they’ve accomplished in the past year and what’s in store for the future.
Bunt addressed the commission first, discussing different projects he’s working on, such as the housing study and the development of the land acquired by the county property exchange. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
When it came to the property exchange, Bunt once again thanked the commission for their help and cooperation in order to acquire the land located at First Street and Texas Avenue. There is still much to do, but Bunt seemed optimistic as to what the project could do for Artesia if developed properly.
