The Eddy County Commission approved a public hearing date for a possible Hold Harmless Gross Receipts Tax (GRT) ordinance Tuesday. The public hearing will take place at a special commission meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14.
The ordinance, if passed, would put into place a GRT in the amount of three-eighth of one percent (0.375) that would be intended to support tax revenue bonds for potential construction of roads and possibly new facilities. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
