The concert will begin with the intermediate advanced band, under the direction of  Richard Kemp, at 7 p.m. at the AHS Auditorium. The band will perform its concert contest pieces, followed by a sight-reading performance. The junior high band will follow, directed by Lisa Dillon, with its concert contest pieces, and the high school band will close the show. The concert, which is free to the public, will precede the district concert and sight-reading contest, which will be held at Hobbs High School Auditorium at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28.
