The Eddy County Board of Commissioners chose to postpone the implementation of a redistricting plan following a special commission meeting Tuesday in Artesia.
During the meeting, a few community members requested additional time to review the redistricting plan and to make recommendations to the board.
The county is being required to redraw the district lines due to population deviations expressed by 2010 Census data.
