A pre-trial conference has been set for an Artesia man who was allegedly driving drunk when he lost control of his vehicle, went airborne and crashed through a fence.

According to the report, at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, Eddy County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of 13th Street and Four Dinkus Road in reference to a vehicle crash.
While the deputy was on the way to the scene, he was informed the suspect vehicle was leaving the scene of the crash.

When the deputy arrived and met with the witness, it was reported the vehicle was a white Dodge truck that was riding on the rim. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
