Crime Stoppers of Eddy County is seeking the public’s assistance with information regarding the theft of a significant amount of lay-flat pipe.

Between Oct. 10 and 30, approximately three miles’ worth of lay-flat pipe was stolen from Seven Rivers Farms in the area of Rock Daisy Road. The pipe is valued at more than $260,000.

Lay-flat pipe is pipe used in delivering water to difficult-to-reach locations, such as fields or oilfield operations. The pipe is capable of being rendered flat for storage.

The Eddy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft, and anyone with potential information regarding the pipe is urged to contact the ECSO’s Detective Division at 575-887-7551.

A reward of up to $4,000 is also being offered by Crime Stoppers for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect. Additional rewards totaling $10,000 have been offered in this case by private donors.

Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 575-887-1888; eddycountycrimestoppers.com; or via the mobile app P3 Tips.
