The Eddy County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) is congratulating Lt. Kane Wyatt for his selection to attend the prestigious National Public Safety Innovation Academy (NIA) in Winter Haven, Fla. 

The NIA is an eight-week, executive-level academy for law enforcement seeking to enhance their Command Level position within their agency. 

Wyatt will have the opportunity to learn from renowned presenters and Subject Matter Experts about effective leadership in today’s environment. In addition, he will be eligible for the Public Safety Advanced Technical Certification. 

Wyatt has a total of 19 years of law enforcement experience combined with a bachelor’s degree in political science and religion from Eastern New Mexico University. He currently oversees the Detective and Records Division and is an integral part of the ECSO command staff.
