The Artesia Police Department recognized its School Resource Officers, Sgt. Ricardo Huerta, left, and Cmdr. Jeff Letcher, right, Thursday in honor of National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. The APD thanked Huerta and Letcher for their “hard work and dedication” in keeping students and faculty safe within the Artesia Public Schools system.
