Artesia Head Start students were treated to a P.A.L.S. (Puppets Are Life Savers) show this morning, which was presented by Celina Bryant and Tita deLeon of Grammy’s House. The show focused on personal space. In order to help students understand the concept, deLeon had students stand up and sing a couple of songs while dancing in their own “personal space.” Pictured, several students point to their eyes as they sing “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.” Grammy’s House will return to the school again Wednesday to present a puppet show to another group of children.
