Get ready, Artesia, because Election Day is practically here. And while this contentious election has been raising many questions, it is the Daily Press’ hope that none of those questions include “How do I vote?” or “What’s on my ballot?”

Know your precinct
Of course, the most vital information to know in order to vote is when and where to go. To start, registered voters should know the precinct in which they live. Precinct information can be found on voter registration cards issued to all New Mexico voters or can be easily accessed on the web at www.voterview.state.nm.us. Also, voters can contact Artesia City Hall at 746-2122 or the Eddy County Bureau of Elections Office at 575-885-3383 to find out their precinct.
After finding their precinct, voters should then find the polling place corresponding to their precinct.
