The 2014 Relay for Life totals are still climbing.
At last count, the total raised by last weekend’s event in Artesia was $47,815, just shy of the set goal of $50,000. Over the course of the overnight event, $33,874 were raised. All the while, teams were still registering late to participate in the event, and according to chairperson Cheryl Bartlett, “there is still time (to donate), as the deadline is set for Sept. 1.” … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
