Man killed in altercation with PVDTF identified

CARLSBAD — An Artesia man shot during an altercation with Pecos Valley Drug Task Force agents Monday in Carlsbad has been identified.
Wesley Davis, 35, was transported to the Carlsbad Medical Center Monday following a brief shootout with the PVDTF and died as a result of his injuries.
