Freezing temperatures in the final days of 2014 did not delay the erecting of framework for the Artesia Historical Museum’s new art annex by contractors with Southwest CM. “We expect our grand-opening celebration to happen this spring, and the museum is very excited about the upcoming traveling exhibits,” said museum manager Nancy Dunn. The new annex will host “Underground Enchantment,” a collection of photos from Lechuguilla Cave including 3D images and films, July through September and “ReDress: Upcycled Style,” an exhibit of 18 high-fashion outfits made completely from recycled materials, in January through March, 2016.
