The 13th Annual Show of the Artesia Quilter’s Guild will take place August 6th through the 30th. There will be all new quilts for this year’s show as well as some vintage quilts that have never been seen on display. “We also have a vintage sewing machine and antique quilter’s racks,” said Museum Supervisor, Nancy Dunn.
“The class projects are also fun to look at it,” she added, “they follow the same theme but each artist uses different colors and you can really see their personality in each piece.” One of the Guild Challenges for this year’s show was to take only three crayon colors, match fabric to the crayons, and create a piece with only those three colors alongside black and white fabric. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
