Arturo Duarte, 28, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for preliminary examination Dec. 2 on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery upon a household member, and false imprisonment.
John Esquibel, 40, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for pretrial conference Jan. 13 on charges of battery upon a household member.
Cynthia Lara, 54, of Roswell, scheduled to appear for pretrial conference Jan. 13 on charges of use of a telephone to terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy or offend.

Beatriz Torrez found guilty of trespassing. Total fines and fees $129. A charge of contempt of court, failure to appear, was dismissed.

Adriana P. Urias found guilty of four counts of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to 12 days in the Artesia Detention Center. Total fines and fees $116.
