2:21 p.m. – Jose Valencia, 58 of Artesia, arrested and charged with controlled substance possession prohibited/synthetic narcotics.

4:48 p.m. – David Lozada, 35, of Artesia, arrested on a bond revocation.

7:17 p.m. – Lorena Beltran, 38, of Roswell, arrested and charged with embezzlement of a motor vehicle.

10:45 p.m. – Robert Huddleston, 44, of Artesia, arrested and charged with an Adult Probation Office hold.

David Lozada, 35, of Artesia, bound over to District Court on charges of child abuse, battery, assault on a peace officer and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.
Jose Carlos Guillermo-Saucedo, 36, of Artesia, scheduled to appear July 19 for preliminary examination on charges of two counts of child abuse, three counts of bribery of a witness, aggravated assault against a household member with a deadly weapon, tampering with evidence, aggravated DWI and four counts of negligent use of a deadly weapon.
Melchor Luna, 25, of Artesia, charge of battery against a household member was dismissed.
Stephanie Ann Cole, 46, of Artesia, charge of battery against a household member was dismissed.
Katrina Montes, 29, of Artesia, found guilty of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. Sentenced to 41 days at ECDC. Total fines and fees $123.
Ernesto Esparza, 35, of Artesia, found guilty of battery against a household member and interference with communications. Sentenced to two years supervised probation.
Carter Garcia, 37, of Hobbs, scheduled to appear Aug. 2 for probation violation hearing.
Randy Bridegroom, 54, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 9 for pretrial conference on charge of unlawful use of license.
Jerry D. Armijo, 43, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 9o for pretrial conference on charge of battery against a household member.
Carlos Olivares, 25, of Roswell, charges of unlawful use of license and no insurance were dismissed. Found guilty of following too closely. Total fines and fees $71.
Roxanne Martinez, 37, of Artesia, bound over to District Court on charge of battery against a health care personnel.
Lorena Beltran, 38, of Roswell, scheduled to appear July 26 for preliminary examination on charge of embezzlement of a motor vehicle.
