First-graders from Roselawn Elementary School brought smiles to the faces of their parents and families Thursday as they performed their Christmas musical, “Getting Ready for Christmas.” The set list included “Hip Hop Elves,” “Let’s Build a Gingerbread House,” “Winter Wiggles” and “Rock the Holly.” Students were dressed as elves, reindeer, snowmen and poodle-skirt girls and used various props as they sang and danced.
