Above and at left, Central Elementary School students participate in some of the science experiments featured at the school’s annual Family Science Night Dec. 1. Nearly 200 people took part in the hands-on activities offered in each classroom and enjoyed scientific door prizes awarded throughout the evening. The event is designed to encourage interest in science and engineering. Through donations from Devon Energy, families were also offered materials that allowed them to replicate the experiments at home with their students.
