It may be two-and-a-half months before the grills are fired up, but David and Vickie Grousnick want you and your taste buds to know that Smokin’ on the Pecos will be here before you know it.
Much like last year, the Grousnicks are in charge of organizing the barbecue competition, formally called the Second Annual Tate Branch Auto Group Smokin’ on the Pecos New Mexico State Barbecue Championship. The Grousnicks said there will be a few new additions to this year’s competition, like a 3K wet and wild bike ride, but many of the same day-to-day activities will be returning this year on a much, much bigger scale. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
