Police arrested Felix Castillo, 25, of Artesia, last Saturday after he allegedly struck Diana Alvarado with a closed fist when she attempted to intervene in what she believed was an attempt by Castillo to attack his girlfriend, Isydra Wilkinson.
According to police reports, Alvarado had stepped between Castillo and Wilkinson when Castillo hit her. Alvarado struck Castillo back in the face multiple times. Afterward, Alvarado’s husband, Rigo, also allegedly struck Castillo, after which Castillo reportedly ran across the street to 1104 W.
