ARTESIA — The Artesia Police Department is continuing to investigate a weekend shooting that left one man dead and a second critically wounded.
APD officers were dispatched just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday to a residence in the 1400 block of Yucca Avenue. Upon arrival, the officers were met by several people, who directed them to a man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
