Loretta Williams

An Artesia woman for whom a Silver Alert was issued Oct. 27 remains missing.

Loretta Williams, 71, was last seen Oct. 24 in the 2000 block of West Briscoe Avenue. Police are continuing to ask the public for potential information regarding here whereabouts, as Williams is considered to be in danger if not located.

Cmdr. Lindell Smith of the Artesia Police Department says all leads are being investigated as they surface.

Williams was believed to have been driving a blue Hyundai Accent with New Mexico tags and is described as Caucasian, 5’5” tall, weighing 150 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. She may be wearing a brown wig.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen her is asked to call the APD at 746-5000 or 911.
