Artesia High School standout offensive lineman Enrique Armendariz signs his letter of intent Wednesday to continue his football career at Eastern New Mexico University, surrounded by his family at Bulldog Bowl. The senior anchor of the 2023 Class 4A State Champion Bulldogs’ O-line, Armendariz was a Red-Green All-Star and All-State First-Team selection and received the program’s Offensive Trench Award. Joining him at the signing table were, seated from left, sister Jasmine Armendariz, father Enrique Armendariz Sr., sister Adrianna Zarazua and brother Anthony Armendariz as extended family, standing, looked on proudly.
