The Bulldog football team poses with their hardware after a big win Friday at the Eastern New Mexico University Seven-on-Seven Tournament in Portales. The ‘Dogs battled their way past Portales, Lovington and Carlsbad en route to the championship game, where they bested Hobbs for the win. The Bulldogs will now prepare to kick off two-a-days workouts Monday, July 31. Their intrasquad-format practice will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, and the annual scrimmage and Quarterback Club Hamburger Fry on Thursday, Aug. 10, ahead of their Aug. 18 season opener against Carlsbad at Ralph Bowyer Stadium.
