Students from Hermosa and Roselawn Elementary Schools were treated to a special performance of “Ramona Quimby” Tuesday at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center. Artesia elementary school students have had the opportunity to view several productions geared toward children at the OPAC, and the center’s final children’s musical of the season is set for later this month. “Skippyjon Jones” will be on stage at 7 p.m. Monday, March 25, for the general public, and elementary students will be able to view the show March 25 and 26, courtesy of the Chase Foundation. Tickets for the evening show are $5 for ages 3-11, $10 for ages 12 and up. OPAC Director Kevin Baggerly also stated that anyone wishing to sign up for the theatre or dance classes being offered by the Artesia Arts Council show contact Education Director Lauren Austin at the OPAC Box Office, 746-4212.
