Mrs. Kirkwood’s second-grade class from Yeso Elementary School pitches in Tuesday afternoon at the Heartland Care Center. Kirkwood’s class cleaned up Heartland’s courtyard as well as handed out handmade cards and flowers to senior citizens. The class was hired for an hour of work by their parents, and the proceeds were given to Mateo Morillon. Rob Larson – Daily Press
