Water ordinance back on the table

The Artesia City Council made a motion for a public hearing and potential council vote on another proposed water conservation ordinance Tuesday night. The public hearing and potential vote will be held Feb. 10, 2015.
Councilor Jeff Youtsey made the motion. Since the previous ordinance was not passed by a 4-3 vote, the only way the ordinance could be brought back up for discussion was if one of the three councilors who voted against it brought it back up for discussion. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
