Jennifer Willhelm has lived in Artesia since she was 3 years old. She is an alumnus of Artesia High School and attended Eastern New Mexico University to receive her teaching degree. She has been married for three years and has a 6-month-old son. Willhelm said she loves to read and practice photography.

She is currently teaching sophomore and junior English classes at Artesia High School as well as the journalism class. Willhelm said she loves to see kids learn and expand their potential.
