A Las Cruces woman is dead following a one-vehicle rollover north of Artesia.
The New Mexico State Police were dispatched to U.S. 285, near mile post 79, just north of Artesia Sunday in reference to a motor accident. Officers say a 2006 Ford F-150 truck had been travelling north on the highway when it crashed into a guardrail on the east side of the road, then rolled into an arroyo.
The driver, Anna M. Sanchez, 50, of Las Cruces, sustained severe injuries and was airlifted from the scene. She died during the flight. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
