Women for a Better Artesia and Faith Baptist Church are proud to announce a special community event that promises an evening of inspiration and empowerment.

We are delighted to invite the residents of Artesia and surrounding areas to a free screening of the critically acclaimed film, “Sound of Freedom,” on September 24th at 5:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church.

“Sound of Freedom” is a gripping and powerful film that sheds light on the harrowing reality of human trafficking and the relentless pursuit of justice. This true-story-based film stars Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, and Bill Camp, and it has received accolades for its impactful storytelling and eye-opening content.

Women for a Better Artesia is committed to raising awareness about important social issues that affect our community and beyond. Human trafficking is a grave concern, and “Sound of Freedom” is a cinematic masterpiece that brings this issue to the forefront, inspiring us all to take action and make a difference.

The event is open to everyone, and there is no admission fee. We encourage you to bring your friends and family for a powerful evening of storytelling, education, and community engagement.

In addition to the movie screening, we will have a brief discussion after the film, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage in a meaningful conversation about human trafficking, advocacy, and how we can work together to combat this pressing issue.
