Jennifer Wright has taken a position as a new first-grade teacher at Yucca Elementary School.
Wright was born in St. Paul, Minn., and raised in Colorado Springs, Colo. She attended Mississippi State and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
After graduating college, she and her husband wanted to move back west. Her husband, who works with the Department of Game and Fish, was offered a job and in 2007, the couple moved to Lakewood.
“I stayed at home with my two sons until the youngest was able to attend kindergarten, which is this year,” said Wright.
Wright said she was very excited to accept a teaching position in Artesia.
