Services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Bertha Campos Cabezuela of Artesia.

Cabezuela, 86, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Artesia General Hospital.

Fr. Martin Cornejo, OFM, will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m.

today at Our Lady of Grace. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. today at the church.

Cabezuela was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Midland, Texas, the daughter of Alberto Campos and Ester (Tarin) Campos. She came to Artesia in 1956 from Texas.

On Feb. 17, 1956, she married Aurelio R. Cabezuela in Ft.

Stockton, Texas.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant and was a very active member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the Guadalupanas.

Survivors include son Robert “Bobby” Cabezuela of San Marcos, Texas; daughters Estela Ramirez of Hatch, Socorro Alvarado of Colorado Springs, Colo., Manuela Herrera of Brighton, Colo., Delfina Garcia of Midland, Imelda Cabezuela Brizeno of Edgewood, and Irma Ramos of Artesia; 24 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aurelio Cabezuela, on Nov. 3, 1998; her parents; three sisters; and one grandson.
