Friday morning, Artesia children of all ages and their family members joined Artesia Public Library staff for a Dino Fun Run at the library.

Staffers wore dinosaur costumes and some children rode dinosaurs and others wore dinosaur masks.

The run was part of the Library’s Summer Reading Program. Dinosaurs are the theme of this year’s festivities known as: Unearth a Story.

Once the run concluded, there were games and treats for the kids.

The Summer Reading Program concludes in July.
