Friday morning before sunrise, firefighters and first responders from the City of Artesia and Eddy County Fire and Rescue prepared to honor those who died in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001. The general public also joined the annual climb along the home side of Bulldog Bowl. Some of the emergency personnel were dressed in full firefighting gear climbing what was equal to 110 stories.
