Balloons, flowers and air horns in hand, the community of Artesia descended upon Bulldog Bowl Thursday to celebrate the commencement of the Artesia High School Class of 2024. Following speeches by Addysen Folmar and Gage Jimenez and Superintendent Darian Jaramillo’s challenge to the class, 209 seniors received their diplomas. The City of Champions’ newest grads then sent their caps skyward as the Pride of the Pecos Valley performed the school alma mater.
