A 2001 Ford Mustang sits with heavy damage after colliding Thursday evening with a parked 2012 GMC Sierra pickup truck at North Roselawn and West Bush avenues. The accident occurred around 9 p.m. when the driver of the Mustang struck the Sierra, stating he didn’t see it parked in the roadway and had no time to apply the brakes. The Mustang sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The Sierra sustained moderate damage. The driver of the Mustang was cited for careless driving and no proof of insurance.
