Artesia High School and the Quarterback Club will honor the 1975 Bulldogs at halftime of Friday’s game against Alamogordo in honor of the 40th anniversary of their state championship. The Quarterback Club will present members of the team with a commemorative coin. Vernon Asbill points out the ‘75 team is the only AHS team to win a state title in a decade ending in five.
